We are currently looking for a Part-Qualified Financial Accountant to join us our busy Finance team in Manchester.
The Financial Accountant will liaise with our clients to produce their annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, and director Self-Assessment. Including Confirmation Statement, UK & EU VAT, MOSS VAT, Stamp Duty, R&D Tax Credits, and other filings.
Key elements of the role include ensuring that financial reporting is in line with current accounting standards. Ensure client records are up to date on an ongoing basis by booking transactions accurately daily, running assurance checks on the integrity of accounts, fixing the issues, assisting with the production of forecasts, business plans, balance sheet reconciliations, and other client requirements.
The role-holder would also be partly responsible for onboarding new clients and upselling business services and products.
We are keen to discuss the role with qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who are business-minded, have a strong technical ability, are comfortable working with large volumes of data, and have advanced Microsoft office, interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients and team members is also essential to the role.

This opportunity is a full-time temp-to-perm role. It is a fixed-term position for an initial three months and permanent on completing three months’ probation. The role holder will earn a starting salary of £24,000 a year and a company bonus of up to 20%. The bonus is discretionary and based on company performance.
